Haygood has at its heart… Service.  Service to our church family as we support each other, to our community and to the world.  There are many opportunities for you to “plug in”.  We would be so happy to  have you join us in the following efforts.  More opportunities are being developed as we grow.   • Angel Tree: to meet the needs of children at Christmas
  • A.S.P. (Appalachia Service Project): Now in its Thirty-second Year! Repair of homes for one week  in Appalachia.
    Youth and adults in outreach mission.
  • Card Ministry:  Greeting cards are provided to send to those who need a smile by mail.
  • Children’s Clothing Exchange: Families exchange clothing to meet needs of growing children.
  • Church Council
  • Congregational Care Ministry: Meeting a variety of church family needs; especially for our shut-ins.
  • Discipleship
  • Drama:  worship, dinner theaters, special seasonal events.
  • Education Program: Tutoring available for youth after school on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM during school year.
  • Food Pantry: Outreach to our community of neighbors in need of food for their families.
  • Gleaning (Society of St. Andrews)
  • H.A.R.K. (Haygood Acts of Random Kindness): Local outreach to those in special need of home upkeep.

  • K.N.O.W. G.O.D. (Kids Night Out With God Over Dinner)
  • Lenten Lunches
  • Martha’s Ministry: Temporary help with meals for our church families in special times of need.
  • Music: Choirs, Handbells, Praise Band, Small Ensembles, Gospel Choir, Chancel Choir, Orchestra, Praise Band
  • Nothing But Nets: Opportunity to join the fight against malaria by giving $10 to send a net and save a life.
